Dynamic Religiosity at Run time

Dear Puppy
Today for the first time in my life, I was asked to state my religion. Ofcourse, it was asked by a secular institution which has made it clear that it does not care about religion. The answer however was mandatory.

I wrote XNOR.

There is 1 fundamental principles of relgion XNOR.
1) If you are an X and you consider me an X, then I am an X.
2)

2 fundamental principles of relgion XNOR.
1) If you are an X and you consider me an X, then I am an X.
2) If you are an X and you consider me Y (where X!=Y), then I am not Y.
3)

Amongst the fundamental principles of relgion XNOR are
1) If you are an X and you consider me an X, then I am an X.
2) If you are an X and you consider me Y (where X!=Y), then I am not Y.
3) If I am X. I WILL criticize and deplore X (and only X)
and
4) I do not "believe in X".

and
5)

I am coming again...

Just as a warning to any one who is about to mention the following names:
Richard Dawkins,
Christopher Hitchens
Bill Maher

or any other person from popular culture who resorts to criticize/refute or mock something as vulnerable as irrational faith systems and the people who believe in them.

We do not like them. We do not like references to them. We do not like people who like them and/or refer to them. Any comment, excluding this, which has the above names will be deleted or rebutted with malicious, mean, personally vindictive ad hominem attacks without any consideration to the merit of the argument.

you have been warned.

Do not take the liberty of assuming that this will serve as a platform for propogation of Organized Atheism, Agnosticism, Anarchism or any ism that is not an established major world religion.

If however you are a priest, a brahmin, a mullah, hare krishna, kirtankaar or any qualified and certified proselytizing agency who wishes to use our comment space (or out blog for that matter) to proselytize people and gain followers, you are most welcome.
We will enjoy your comments (unless they have the above names)

The official religion of this blog is not XNOR. That is Baby V's religion. The official religion of this blog is KPism.

Far be it from me to ever aspire to the justifiably despised title of, 'bug-tester', but...

If you are an identified X, and you do not believe in 'X', then why do you bring yourself to criticize and deplore 'X' when all you have to do is wait for all the rest of 'em legitimate 'X's' to get crow on their collective faces when you actually do 'come again'.

cos those fuckers deserve it and so that little kids who are listening and haven't yet identified themselves due to fear, insecurity and sheer social advantage know that there is another option.

I am sure Bill Maher didn't see Monty Python, but shouldn't Dawkins know of the Spanish Inquisition?

translation:

Bulla Ki Jaana Maen Kaun Says Bulla,
who knows who I am!
I am not in the mosque of the believer,
Nor in false rites.
I am not in the pure or the impure.
Neither Moses nor Pharaoh.
Says Bulla, who knows who I am!

I am not in the vedas or holy books,
Not in drug or wine.
Not in the drunkards wasted intoxication,
Not in wakefulness or sleep.
Says Bulla, who knows who I am!

I am not in sorrow nor in joy,
Neither in clean nor unclean.
I am not water, I am not earth,
I am not fire, I am not air.
Says Bulla, who knows who I am!

I am not from Arabia or Lahore,
Nor from India or Nagaur.
Neither a hindu or muslim from Peshawar,
Nor do I live in Nadaun.
Says Bulla, who knows who I am!
I cannot be unearthed in the mysteries of religion.

I was not born of Adam and Eve.
I am not the name I assume.
I am not in stillness, not in movement.
Finally, I only know myself.
I cannot know any other.
Who could be wiser than I?
Bulla asks, who then, stands here?
Says Bulla, who knows who I am!

Dear Anon,

Next time you get the urge to masturbate your inner poet, at least do us the courtesy of copy/pasting the original Bulleh Shah poem and not that bastard version by Rabbi Shergill, who felt the need to chop 25% off each verse. Indeed, if you'll read the translation you have oh-so-graciously provided, you will see the missing 4th lines from each verse.

Now get off my lawn.

Kindest regards,

Puppy Manohar
